Call for Life دعوة للحياة

وأضيف قولة تعالى: {{لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ}}
[

The great Sufi Muhyiddin Ibn 'Arabi, who lived about 800 years ago in Al-Andalus, says in few eloquent verses teaching us religious tolerance which is absolutely necessary for life.

Also like God says in Quran: {{Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion}} [Al-Kafiron 109: 6] which means: You shall have your religion and I shall have my religion.

Ibn 'Arabi says:

I had been abnegating my friend, until today,
unless his religion close to mine
***
My heart has become capable of every form:
it is a pasture for gazelles and a convent for Christian monks,
***
and a temple for idols and the pilgrim's Ka'bah,
and the tables of the Torah and the book of the Qur'an.
***
I follow the religion of Love: whatever way Love's camels take,
that is my religion and my faith.
